Abel Ted Myers was born on July 18, 2002 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Lucy Myers and Jemont Myers. Though born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Abel spent the first three years of his life in Gretna, Louisiana. He then moved to Houston, Texas, where he spent the remainder of his life. Abel was athletic and enjoyed sports, such as track and football. He was even on both the track and field and football teams during his time in middle school. Abel attended Robert Rhodes Elementary School in his early childhood. He then went on to attend Waller Junior High School. In his later teenage years, he attended Waller High School, where he graduated in May of 2021. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Veronica St. Brice, and his paternal grandfather, Roosevelt Myers. As he crosses over, Abel leaves behind his mother, Lucy Myers; his father, Jemont Myers; his oldest brother, Cleafe Hippolyte also known as CJ and Jesse Myers; his nephews, Isaiah Hippolyte and Jeremiah Hippolyte; his maternal grandfather, Joseph St. Brice; his paternal grandmother, Gilda Garrison; his maternal uncles, Moses St. Brice, Sylvester St. Brice, Nathan St. Brice, and Daniel St. Brice; his maternal aunts, Dionysia St. Brice, Christina Munrose, Bertilia St. Brice-Remy, Annabella Howard, Elvira St. Brice, Cecilia St. Brice, and Lesia St. Brice-Ayala; his paternal uncles, Tokoebe Myers and Theodore Myers; his paternal aunt, Theodora Myers; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish his memory.
