Her journey began on September 22, 1957, in Houston, Texas, as the third child born to Garner and Carrie Pines.

Dianna learned to love God at an early age. Baptized at the age of 10, she remained a faithful member of Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church throughout her life. Serving on the Usher Board alongside her siblings and friends from youth into adulthood brought her great joy and fostered a deep connection to both her church family and her commitment to serving God.

Dianna lived life with JOY! She was known for her unforgettable sayings, "Because I Can" and "I'm Not." Those simple words perfectly reflected her confidence, independence, and spirited nature. She was never afraid to speak the truth or stand her ground. Dianna's spirit carried the perfect blend of sweetness and spice, loving fiercely and bringing unforgettable energy. Her fun-loving personality, warm heart, and undeniable charm transformed ordinary moments into extraordinary memories that will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.

For thirty-nine years, the love of her life, Lynn Russell Radka, was her steadfast rock, showering her with unwavering love, devotion, and care. Together, they shared a remarkable love story and a bond that grew stronger with time, creating cherished memories that will forever be remembered by all who knew them.

There is no love quite like that of a mother, and Craig Andre' Newsome, her beloved "Big Head Baby," was the pride of Dianna's heart. She loved him unconditionally, was immensely proud of the man he became, and shared with him her love, laughter, encouragement, and memories that will live on forever.

Dianna never missed an opportunity to help others, especially those with mental and physical challenges. She spent many years caring for children and adults with special needs, loving them like family and welcoming them into her own. Whether big or small, she always found a way to meet a need, touching countless lives through her generosity, compassion, and servant's heart.

Determined to pursue her goals, Dianna earned her GED and continued her education at Lee College and San Jacinto College, taking courses that prepared her for a future in healthcare.

Dianna loved traveling with her friends, exploring destinations near and far, and she never met a stranger. She made friends everywhere she went, but her closest friend and cherished bestie was her baby sister, Rhonda.

Dianna taught us that joy is meant to be shared, laughter is medicine for the soul, and being unapologetically yourself is a gift. Her beautiful, sassy spirit brought color, joy, and fun to every life she touched, and her love, sparkle, and unforgettable presence will be cherished forever.

Her earthly journey ended on June 18, 2026, but her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched and the family she loved so dearly.
