Jessica Ann Daughtery was born on May 14 1983 to James Kermit Bennett Jr. and Vickie Dawn Gray in Los Angeles, California. After 42 Years of being a God fearing woman with a full life of adventure and love, Jessica accepted Christ and was baptized at the Bellfort Church of Christ in Houston, Texas in the year of 2024.

Jessica spent part of her childhood in Los Angeles, California, where she lived with her late grandparents, James and Josephine Bennett, and her late sister, Juanita Bennett. She grew up surrounded by her cousins—Lisa Renee Bennett, Roshanda Jeannen Dodds, Rodrick Bennett, and Joseph Stansberry. She later moved to Houston, Texas, where she built her life and raised her family.

Jessica received her education in the HISD school system. She attended M.B. Smiley high school and later furthered her education by gaining a certification in Welding.

Jessica was a loving Mother, grandmother and wife. Her spontaneous and ambitious spirit was infectious and she inspired and motivated so many people that she met throughout her life journey.

In keeping with her loving and generous spirit, Jessica decided to give the gift of life to others by choosing to be an organ donor.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Bennett and sister, Juanita Nicole Bennett.

She leaves behind her husband , Deandre Cyrel Daughtery , Mother, Vickie Gray , Children, Agushanik Namar Simon , Linda Nicole Simon, Augusta Simon Jr , DaVontae Zentral Simon, and Bonus Children Traylon Deshaun Gray , Zoey Monae Daughtery and Deandre Cyrel Daughtery Jr, Grandchildren Zy’Aire Augustin Simon , Ariya Rose Toussaint, August Dior Lawson ,Major Joel Simon , Marvail Levi Johnson , Kingston Amyr Labome , Mozzy lee Johnson and Sianni Renae Simon; and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, nephews, family and friends.
