Marjorie Lynne Parra, born March 14, 1954

Daughter of David Henson and Marilyn Finnigan, sister to Dwayne, Steve, Lacy and Keith. Mother to Kristina and Brynda Parra. Grandmother to Cordaro, Tyisha, Luther (Pokey), Henry, William and Leondre. Mardy was welcomed home by her family and friends on September 04, 2026, with grace and dignity. Though our hearts were not ready your wings were.

Our mother was there when we took our first breath. We were there when she took her last. She cried with joy the first time she saw our eyes open. We cried with sorrow the last time we saw hers close.

She welcomed us into the world, and we stood beside her when she left it.

She was a proud grandmother and a great supporter of all her grandchildren. She showed them the glory of love and the path to forgiveness. Though her lesson may have been difficult they were done out of pure love.

Her heart would want us all to smile with happy memories, though, our hearts may hurt and we may feel pain in her loss she will truly never be gone.
